10/02/2012 - Prince Mshiyeni HospitalPrince Mshiyeni Campus is implementing a new project whereby new students will be mentored by senior students (peer student mentoring). This student-to-student support programme is aimed at reducing the challenges that newly arriving students encounter when they go to the clinical settings for the first time by having other students taking the role of role-models. Ex-student role-models were invited as guests speakers at this “Professional Day” event to motivate the junior students and mentors were then allocated to them.
Gift of the Givers catered for the event and contributes a Unilever hygiene hamper on a monthly basis to ensure the campus meets the hygiene standards set by the campus board.
