01/11/2012 - Greytown Community500 people meet at the Greytown community hall to receive a hot, tasty meal. Mr Aheer, a concerned and involved community member, runs a feeding scheme twice a week. It is with this type of passion that the many unemployed individuals, senior citizens and children in the area are able to have a meal. Mr Aheer realised that he is not alone in helping mankind and called upon GOTG for further assistance. We provided various ingredients toward the feeding scheme as well as Personal Hygiene Packs to the poor.
It was heartwarming to watch the crowd make way for people in wheelchairs, giving them a chance to receive their Hygiene Packs first, while others waited patiently in line.
