Be it a broken leg, paralysis, amputation or even a birth defect, Gift of the Givers donates wheelchairs on an ad-hoc basis to individuals, hospitals and schools, on request. One's quality of life is instantly improved when they're able to move around freely and the load on caregivers is lessened substantially.

Gift of the Givers with SABC Foundation donated a wheelchair to 3 year old, Imaan Dearham, from Minnebron in Brakpan.
Imaan was diagnosed with Brain Cancer when she was only 3 months old and sadly lost her left eye after living in a comma for a month. Shortly after she lost vision in her other eye and at 8 months old she was put on chemo therapy with no success.

April 2018 - Gogo Mthalane

Gogo Mthalane from Smero in Edendale received a wheelchair from the Gift of the Givers team. Gogo suffers with diabetes and subsequently had her leg amputated. Regular visits to the clinic was a nightmare for both her family and herself as they battled to carry her, with her plastic chair, in and out of taxis.
As Gogo holds her face in her hands one can only imagine what's going through her mind,
