Esme Nel, a community worker passionate about empowering small business owners, approached Gift of the Givers for a contribution of Hair Products to 8 salons in Eastwood, Pietermaritzburg. The GOTG team gladly obliged by distributing items at the community hall.
Kenilworth Respite Centre is a shelter for women and children affected by domestic violence. The shelter also provides meals, counselling, and empower the victims by offering programmes such as lifeskills. Gift of the Givers was glad to contribute to their good cause and handed over:
GOTG hands over a wheelchair to Mr Ebrahim Vawda in Durban who suffered a stroke. The wheelchair has come in handy in allowing him to be mobile around the house without assistance.

The NPC (Natal Pietermaritzburg Corporation) and the Association for the Physically Disabled met at the Mpumuza Traditional Administrative Centre to take measurements of the 28 adults who are physically callenged.
