For the month of Ramadaan more than 16 400 Iftar meals were distributed in 3 provinces in Yemen, Hodaidah, Amran and Aden. Due to civilian fighting in the Amran Province, the Gift of the Givers team could not continue with its assistance however continued in the other 2 provinces.

Gift of the Givers hosted the annual Free Clothing Exhibition on Eid in Aden Province, Yemen. Amongst the 3000 beneficiaries were Syrian refugees, IDP's from Abyan to Aden and the local orphans and impoverished.
Items available to the recipients were Clothing, Shoes, Toys and Personal Hygiene Packs.

Iftaar Pack distribution of 750 Iftaar Packs and 650 Bags of Maize Flour to our needy Muslim brothers and sisters at a total cost in the peri-urban areas of Limbe and Blantyre as well as the Lakeshore district of Mangochi.
Packs were donated to the disabled and the elderly who depend on hand-outs at various mosques during the fasting month.

Gift of the Givers in partnership with Malawi Relief Fund-UK.
Mangochi district is a traditionally Muslim-predominated area where 90% of the people follow the religious faith of Islam. Amongst them, the literacy rate is very low and most of them live on subsistence farming. The total cultivation areas remain unfertile for agricultural activities and most of the families are not food-secure.
