The Open Circle

Gift of the Givers donates aid to The Open Circle in Maitland Western Cape.

The Open Circle, a group home/step down care facility catering specifically for adults with an intellectual disability who often display challenging behaviour.  The Open Circle came about in 2008 when a group of concerned parents and care givers got together. Victory Outreach Rehabilitation Home

Victory Outreach Recovery Home is an organization that is dedicated to the rehabilitation of substance abusers, and other troubled individuals. The institution caters for all over the age of 18 and currently houses 40 females and 80 male patients. They offer a 12 month program that provides an apt environment to allow the necessary changes to take place in the lives of the individual to become the people they were meant to be. As a ministry, they provide group and one-on-one counseling as well as bible studies & prayer. 24-hour supervision is maintained in this structured program. This service is provided free of charge and includes accommodation, hot showers and meals.

Usindiso Ministries

Usindiso Ministries provides shelter for abused women and children as well as a home for the homeless women and children. They create an awareness about HIV/AIDS, Human Rights and their rights as women by offering workshops. The women are also get taught lifeskills and handcrafts whilst the children are sent to school.

Athlone School for the Blind

On Thursday 10 May 2012 Gift of the Givers handed out 410 Party Packs to the visually impaired learners at the Athlone School for the Blind who celebrated 85 years of service to the Blind in South Africa.

Sunrise Special Care Centre

There are many things in life that we take for granted, one of them being our physical abilities and by thanking the Almighty for all that He has blessed us with, we felt that it is our responsibility to make a difference in the lives of those who are physically challenged.

Reamogetswe Day Care Centre

Reamogetswe Day Care Centre in Bela Bela takes care of disabled children over the age of 16. They provide skills development training to stimulate their minds and enable them to sustain themselves. Sewing, beading, baking and gardening are among the training the centre offers. Meals are prepared daily for the children by a women who herself is disabled and bound to a wheelchair.
