At Motala's Farm in Pinetown the Gift of the Givers team distributed 300 Personal Hygiene, Detergent Packs and Blankets.

B Line, Eerste River

B Line, Eerste River

Gift of the Givers provided assistance in the form of hygiene packs and chocolates for the poverty stricken community of B Line in Eerste River, Western Cape. We acknowledge Kekkel and Kraai for providing the soup and food items and the Post Office for providing volunteers.

Chatsworth Stadium

Chatsworth Stadium

Gift of the Givers, Nelson Mandela Youth Centre and Revolution Motorcycle Club served 1500 preschoolers at the Chatsworth Stadium and distributed Soup Packs and 200 Unilever Vanity Packs. The children come from Chatsworth, Welbedacht, Wentworth, Lamontville, Umlazi and the Bluff and also enjoyed sporting activities for the rest of the day.

Kgolakgano Primary School

Gift of the Givers, joined with Vodacom, at the Kgolakgano Primary School, an impoverished school in Emaphupheni, Benoni. The team distributed 1500 hot meals, 1500 Squish baby puree, 1000 apples and Unilever washing powder.

Actonville Primary School
Actonville Primary in Benoni established a reading room on Mandela Day to encourage their learners to develop a love for literature. Exploring the imagination, increasing knowledge and mental stimulation is but a few of the benefits of reading. Together with The American International Johannesburg School, Gift of the Givers secured 3000 reading books for the program.

Joubert Park

Gift of the Givers in partnership with Radio 2000, Channel Africa, SABC Africa fed 1200 people and distributed 800 boxes of baby food, 1200 Cremora and sweet packs to the poor and homeless at Joubert Park
