On a rainy winters morning GOTG arrives at the small community of Amatikwe in Inanda. Within the walls of the Abalindi Welfare Society, a home for the old and frail as well as mentally, physically challenged and destitute children, everyone is singing and dancing to the wonderful sound of music played by the SAPS band. The home has a bakery, gardening project and a crèche.They receive a susidy from the government, but is not enough to sustain them.

One of GOTG's new team members said that she felt the most beautiful feeling of appreciation that she can serve mankind making their living conditions a little easier. A young man living at the home had been left motherless and fatherless and may never know who his parents are. Provisional Commissioner, Lieutenant General B. M. Ngobeni assisted with the distribution of:

  • 200 Blankets
  • 40 Mattresses
  • 100 Personal Hygiene Packs
  • 2 Bails of Diapers
  • 2 Food Hampers
  • 1 Large Unilever Detergent Pack
  • 10 x 400 Knorr Soya Mince
  • 6 x 8kg Soup
