Gift of the Givers Response:

Responding to the destruction left by Cyclone Dineo, which affected in excess of 600 000 people, we facilitated a massive aid package, delivered by truck from South Africa and jointly distributed by ourselves and officials of the Mozambican Government.

Relief goods comprised tons of hygiene packs, food parcels, bulk food, blankets, mattresses and cooking pots. Visiting the particularly hard-hit village of Maxixe, where houses and schools lay in ruins, flattened by the cyclone, we provided the local hospital with baby clothes, diapers, shoes, washing powder and bulk food.
