Given the shortage of medical supplies and the dependence on international aid to keep medical facilities functional, Gift of the Givers provides medication, medical equipment, food and water to the following facilities and the patients they serve:
As cholera poses a massive threat amongst IDPs, Gift of the Givers not only provides Point-of-Use products capable of purifying contaminated water, but also delivers cholera medication to those already infected.
Most recently Gift of the Givers provided support for the Swedish Hospital, in Taiz, by donating incubators and other equipment to their neonatal ICU, all of which was being utilised within an hour of installation.
