The poorest families in Somalia face a daily battle to put food on the table, given the intensity of the conditions in the country.
Gift of the Givers affords families in dire need support through the regular provision of food aid. Such assistance currently amounts to more than 50 containers of food being delivered on an annual basis.
Food parcels are designed in such as way as to sustain a family of seven for, on average, a month and with the assistance of local municipalities and district authorities in Somalia, our team ensures that these food parcels reach the numerous needy people in regions across the length and breadth of Somalia. During the course of 2021, some 3 200 families there received emergency food.
