Anglo American has been partnering with Gift of the Givers since 2020 with regards to the provision of food security support.
As part of the WeCare Community Response Programme, Anglo American’s global response programme to support the lives and livelihoods of our workforce and host communities through the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Anglo American Foundation in collaboration with Gift of the Givers provided 52,500 food parcels and vouchers to vulnerable households around our operations in Zimbabwe, Namibia and South Africa, supporting more than 200,000 beneficiaries
