In March 2026, a heartfelt connection crossed continents as generous donors from Denmark under the banner Care For Others Denmark visited Malawi to witness the impact of the Orphan Sponsorship Project implemented by Gift of the Givers.Their journey took them through orphan homes and communities, where they experienced firsthand both the challenges faced by vulnerable children and the powerful difference that compassion and support can make.One of the most touching moments came when they distributed cash gifts, lovingly contributed by children in Denmark, to 40 orphaned children from Gomani Village (TA Kunthembwe) in Blantyre rural.In a deeply moving gesture, one donor extended personal support to a child-headed household in Twaya Village. Tiyamike Lester Paul, who lost both parents and now lives under the care of her sister a single mother of two and received direct sponsorship.
