As education plays a vital role in the continuity of any civilisation, Gift of the Givers supports the education of Palestinians through a number of interventions.
Education is not limited to the academic field alone, but also through the development of skills the organisation imparts, enabling people to better earn an income.
Special emphasis is placed on talented children, orphans, disabled and women.
Gift of the Givers response includes educational assistance at Khuzaa Pre-school and a Woman and Childcare Centre, the provision of bursaries and the delivery of stationery and school supplies. The comprehensive support provided focuses on early childhood development, school-going children, tertiary education and adult basic life skills training.
In coordination with the Palestinian Embassy in Egypt, we provided financial assistance to support Palestinian students stranded in Cairo as a result of the Israeli aggression on Gaza. The aid was distributed at the Palestinian Embassy to help cover the cost of living for these students, who had previously relied on their families back home for expenses and tuition. However, given the current situation, some students have lost the ability to pay, while others have sadly lost their family members who used to support them. This assistance is intended to help these Palestinian students continue their studies in Cairo despite the tragic circumstances surrounding them.Donate to our emergency response in Gaza:🟢 Backabuddywww.backabuddy.co.za/champion/project/bringing-hope-to-gaza-amid-turmoil🟢 GlobalGivingwww.globalgiving.org/projects/palestine-emergency-relief/?fbclid=IwAR0tdt_yRoPUGD3-zKD1egSghceXol...🟢 Gift of the Givers banking details:Bank: Standard BankBranch: PietermaritzburgAccount Number: 052137228Branch Code: 057525Reference: "Palestine"🌐 Online donation: giftofthegivers.org/online-payment/When making a donation, use the country's name as a reference.#GiftoftheGivers #SA #SouthAfrica #MiddleEast #MakeADifference #ForTheGreaterGood #Palestine #PalestineEmergencyAppeal #DisasterResponse #Gaza #ReliefAid #FinancialAid #EducationSupport #Egypt ...
