Zimbabwe has an Agro-based economy, with millions of people relying on rainfall for farming, drinking water and other usages. Food security is, therefore, unstable as it vastly depends on rain-fed agricultural production.
The current diet of a rural Zimbabwean family consists mostly of maize. This lacks diversity and additional nutritional needs are not met.
The Gift of the Givers team in Zimbabwe is dedicated to alleviating hunger through our ongoing interventions which includes the provision of nutritionally complete food parcels, together with the establishment of feeding centres.
