In support of 16 Days of Activism Against Women and Child Abuse, Gift of the Givers donates Clothing to the Swapo, Copesville and Haniville communities in Pietermaritzburg. Shoprite served soup and bread whilst the SAPS took to the streets creating awareness around the campaign.

The kids from the local primary school in Dealesville had a day that will not be forgotten. Food, dance, jumping castles and go karts made for a thrilling experience, the highlight being the arrival of Santa with a seemingly endless supply of gifts.

22/11/2016 - Senior Entrepreneurs
Gift of the Givers supports the Zayeka and Ebungcweleni senior groups who sustain themselves by managing beading, sewing and garden projects. They train younger women and men as unemployment is prevalent in the area. 

Seeds, fabric and shoes for repair were distributed by Gift of the Givers. The GOTG team also supplied Flora Margarine toward the group's feeding project.

27/11/2016 - Benoni Spurs Walk for Freedom

The Benoni Spurs Walk for Freedom fundraiser was hosted on 27 November in Benoni. Proceeds went toward the Gift of the Givers Woman and Child Centre in Gaza.
In attendance was ANC stalwart and close friend of Madiba, Mr Ahmed Khathrada, and his foundation.
