We are all dependent on water for life… it’s the very necessary foundation for our growth and development. However, it is a scarce and dwindling resource in many areas of the world, and especially South and sub-Saharan Africa. A need exists to ensure people become increasingly responsible about saving and utilising water efficiently.
When disaster strikes, water takes on even greater importance, leading to our organisation having played a necessarily active role in assisting under-resourced communities secure access to safe, potable water and hygienic sanitation facilities, an undertaking against which we have delivered since the inception of Gift of the Givers.
From drilling boreholes and installing rainwater harvesting operations, to establishing purification systems and distributing bottled water, we have the flexibility to rapidly adapt to a community’s requirements, delivering water provision solutions which most appropriately ensure the sustainability of life.
We continue our humanitarian relief efforts to support communities facing difficult circumstances.Through mobile water units and JoJo tanks, we are providing access to safe drinking water and helping meet the urgent needs of displaced communities. These efforts play an important role in protecting health, improving living conditions, and supporting the well-being of vulnerable families. The establishment of water circulation facilities further strengthens the safety and sustainability of the water supply while helping to reduce the risk of waterborne diseases.Through these ongoing interventions, Gift of the Givers remains committed to responding to urgent humanitarian needs and supporting vulnerable communities during times of difficulty.Together We Can Make A Difference 🌍To contribute towards our interventions, visit 🌐: http://www.giftofthegivers.org/make-a-difference #GiftoftheGivers #MakeADifference #ForTheGreaterGood #WaterProvision #WaterDistribution #34YearsOfServingHumanity #Somalia
