It is every child's right to proper education, regardless of their socio-economic circumstances.
The reality, regrettably, is that massive numbers of schools, particularly in rural areas, are significantly under-resourced. The result of inferior educational institutions is that the teaching and absorption of knowledge becomes exponentially more difficult.
This is a common problem and one so massive that Governments are unable alone to impact on school upgrades as rapidly as is necessary.
In light of this untenable situation, we contribute towards the creation of an environment conducive to the improved education of the disadvantaged.

#GIFTOFTHEGIVERS 💚We are thrilled to share some wonderful news from our ongoing Early Learning Project in partnership with The Unlimited Child. Recently, we visited the New Dawn Center in Machinjiri, and the progress we’ve witnessed is truly inspiring.Since the implementation of the Gift of the Givers' Early Learning Project in January, the children have shown incredible enthusiasm for learning. Through the use of diverse resources like Big Lego blocks, bottle tops, and images, the children are exploring their creativity, learning about colours, and developing essential counting and mathematical skills. 🧮✨During our recent visit, the kids had a blast using story cards to talk about what they saw in pictures. They even explored cool concepts like shadows and reflections. To make it real, we used a bucket of water to show how reflections work and how they’re different from shadows. The children asked thoughtful questions, showing their growing understanding of these concepts. 🌊👤The session also included a discussion on basic hygiene practices, tying the day’s theme to real-life applications. Gift of the Givers teams accompanied by the City of #Johannesburg Speaker, Honourable Cllr. Nobuhle Mthembu visited Spectrum Primary #School 📚 in #Ennerdale recently. The school, surrounded by two informal settlements, accommodates 2700 learners, most of whom come from disadvantaged families. The team distributed essential items including school shoes, hygiene packs, stationery packs, bulk detergents and boxes of book covers for 50 learners from the most disadvantaged families.Furthermore, Gift of the Givers donated bulk food items to the school, ensuring that learners receive food to take home every Friday.
