The staff and children were filled with excitement as the team distributed 12 Blankets and Mattresses. This in itself is a real treat for the children as in most creches 1 mattress is shared

Living without an ID book is 1 of the many problems Impendle's Swampu community faces. Without their ID's it's almost impossible to get jobs or social grants from the Government. Thankfully SASSA went to the community members to begin the process of issuing ID documents.

It also set the tone for the upcoming year outlining it's main objectives, discussing events and trainings on the 2013 calendar.
