Employees Assistance Programme
The employee assistance program (EAP) is a service contract between Gift of the Givers Careline and companies. Employees are provided with a variety of support programs. Although EAP is aimed mainly at work-related difficulties, the services rendered also helps employees deal with challenges that originate outside the workplace as this inevitably impacts on attendance and/or work performance. This service has proved to reduce absenteeism and increase productivity. It is provided on-site to prevent time lost from work.
Through the EAP we participate in Employee Wellness Programmes (EWP), where we highlight the importance of psychological and emotional well-being and the ripple effect it has on work performance. This creates an opportunity for staff to be informed that our services are available on site.
Gift of the Givers Careline salutes companies who take a proactive stance towards the well-being of their employees. The acknowledgement and care of staff serves to be mutually beneficial for them and the company.
