Gift of the Givers has in place an education project and our educational support spans six countries, including Yemen.
Here, the primary focus is on students with partial or complete blindness. Through this initiative we provide education via Braille, supplying learning materials and sponsoring educators.
Marginalised and already on the back-foot, some 150 families suffering from genetic blindness live in a village known as Al Khuzna. The educational response by Gift of the Givers includes assisting those based in Al Khuzna with classes.

In partnership with Misr Al-Khair Foundation, we officially opened a kindergarten in Al Arish, Egypt, serving both Egyptian and Palestinian children. Our Ramadan Iftar tent in Aswan, southern Egypt, is providing 500 Iftar meals daily to displaced Sudanese families throughout the holy month. For families who fled their homes with little income, this meal offers essential nourishment, eases financial strain, and allows them to participate in the spirit and shared atmosphere of Ramadan despite the hardships of displacement.Since April 2023, widespread unrest in Sudan has displaced millions, forcing many to seek safety in Egypt. A cooperation protocol was officially signed between Gift of the Givers Foundation, represented by the Director of its Egypt Office, and Misr El Kheir Foundation, represented by its Chief Executive Officer, in the presence of Sheikh Ali Gomaa, former Grand Mufti of Egypt and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Mohamed El-Refai, CEO of Misr El Kheir, and the Director of Projects Management.
