Gift of the Givers has in place an education project and our educational support spans six countries, including Yemen.
Here, the primary focus is on students with partial or complete blindness. Through this initiative we provide education via Braille, supplying learning materials and sponsoring educators.
Marginalised and already on the back-foot, some 150 families suffering from genetic blindness live in a village known as Al Khuzna. The educational response by Gift of the Givers includes assisting those based in Al Khuzna with classes.

A delegation from the Education Bloc, along with representatives from the Ministry of Education, visited classrooms at our Early Childhood Project in Yemen’s western coastal districts. The program is currently being implemented in Mocha, Dhubab, Mawza, and Al-Wazi'iyah districts. The facility has been fully furnished and equipped to create a safe, supportive environment for disadvantaged Egyptian university students. By providing access to secure housing, this initiative enables young women to pursue their education with dignity and stability, empowering them to build brighter futures for themselves and their communities.
